Quick Start

Set Up Owlzoom in Minutes.

Connect Owlzoom to your TV, turn it on, and help your child get ready for motion play.

01

Set Up in 3 Steps

Set It Up Your Way

Place Owlzoom on a TV stand or clip it on top of your TV. Adjust the angle so Owlzoom can see the play area clearly.

Connect the Cables

Connect Owlzoom to your TV with the HDMI cable, then connect the USB-C power cable.

Turn On & Play

Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds. Then use your TV remote to select the correct HDMI input.

TV Tip

Nothing on TV?

This usually means your TV is not set to the correct HDMI input. Use your TV remote to switch to the HDMI input where Owlzoom is connected.

02

Get Ready to Play

Stand Where Owlzoom Can See You

Make sure your child’s whole body and both hands are visible on the screen.

Use a Clear Play Area

Keep enough space around your child for reaching, waving, jumping, and moving safely.

Use Bright, Even Lighting

A normal bright room works best. Avoid strong backlight, mirrors, glass, fans, or moving objects in Owlzoom’s view.

Recommended Distance

Stand about 6.5 ft / 2 m from Owlzoom for better motion tracking and enough room to move.

03

Basic Controls

Wave to Browse

Use your hand to browse games and move through on-screen choices.

Raise Both Hands to Start

Raise both hands when you are ready to enter or start a game.

Move to Play

Reach, wave, tap, jump, move side to side, or dodge depending on the game.

Cross Arms to Exit

Cross both arms over your chest to exit a game. Move the tracking star to "NO" to cancel exit.

04

Good to Know

  • Owlzoom does not need Wi-Fi, an app, downloads, or a subscription to play built-in games.
  • If movement tracking feels off, adjust Owlzoom’s angle and make sure the full body is visible.
  • If the game does not respond, turn Owlzoom off and restart it, then enter the game again.
  • For the best experience, keep mirrors, glass, fans, and moving objects out of Owlzoom’s view.
